Package of duties This position offers a wide variety of tasks. You will join an experienced team and get acquainted with all facets of international transport. You are responsible for performing all operational and administrative tasks in the company regarding transport:

• Organizing the daily planning smoothly and cost-efficiently.
• Establishing efficient processes and procedures.
• You are responsible for processing orders in relevant systems.
• Supporting the transport planning (full loads + part loads) primarily carried out with charter vehicles and DFDS trailers.
• You support the daily planning and contribute to obtaining the best possible roundtrip.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through your problem-solving skills and by limiting risks.
• You are a coordination point and contact person for customers, carriers, drivers, the shipping department, and the warehouse.
• You follow up with drivers and subcontractors so that deliveries are made on time.
• You ensure that customer requirements are met within the specified timeframe, ensure the necessary communication with all involved parties regarding this, and provide both the necessary follow-up and feedback.
• You ensure that the company's activities are in accordance with legal requirements and that the standards specified by ISO and SQAS are maintained.

• Do you have relevant planning experience? Or have you completed a relevant education?
• Can you communicate smoothly and do you possess a large amount of problem-solving ability?
• Are you accurate and can you think analytically?
• Are you flexible?
• You are a team player, but can also work independently.
• Do you work smoothly with a PC and possess good knowledge of the MS Office package?
• Do you have very good knowledge of Dutch and English?
• Do you have good knowledge of logistics.
• Geographical knowledge of France & Benelux is a plus.
• You work during day hours, but you are open to telephone standby (Friday to Friday). Alternating between colleagues.
