Cloud DevOps Engineer

Dexi is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a positive and proactive attitude to join our low-ego, highly collaborative team located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you’ll do

As a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technical know-how, and a desire to go where the data leads, you’ll:

Contribute to the design and implementation of DevOps practices.

Design and improve the resilience, scaling, security, and robustness of production infrastructure systems

Proactively react to outage or service level degradation scenarios

Continuously improve regular operations by automating procedures and optimizing processes.

Raise awareness and improve understanding of CI/CD practices in the Engineering departments and across the company

Effectively gather information and use analytical skills to make data-led decisions

Balance multiple tasks and priorities

Deliver high-quality work while meeting business deadlines

What you’ll need

Experience as a DevOps Engineer

Strong understanding and knowledge of CI/CD processes

Experience with designing and building automation

Experience in IaC and with configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Thorough understanding and experience in Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, etc.

Experience with:

Google Cloud (and other cloud providers)

One or more programming languages (Java preferred)

Cloud migration

Monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana)

Understanding of security hardening, access management practices

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills

Bonus points

A DevSecOps mindset is an advantage for this role

Cloud certifications

Experience working with remote teams in different time zones

Passion for continuous learning
