Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Join us in playing an exciting role in building Singapore’s digital metropolis. DEX Digital Technologies Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (FullStack) to help build and scale the trusted digital infrastructure powering Singapore’s digital economy. About DEX DEX is Singapore’s trusted data-exchange digital utility, powering secure and interoperable data flows across key sectors including Supply Chain & Logistics (SGTraDex) and Built Environment (SGBuildex).  Our portfolio also includes key national digital trust platforms such as InvoiceNow, TradeTrust and OpenCerts, supporting trusted digital transactions, trade documentation and verifiable credentials. What you’ll do: ·       Design and build services with business value, usability, scalability and high performance in mind ·       Own end-to-end design and implementation of complex systems ·       Lead system design and architecture decisions, and own the technical documentation behind them ·       Raise the team's engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring and technical direction ·       Collaborate with business, product, design and engineering team members to clarify requirements and ship iteratively ·       Advocate for and practise agile principles in the software development process ·       Leverage AI to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality ·       Support services in production: build in observability, and troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly What we’re looking for: ·       5+years building production software in full-stack roles, with strong experience in TypeScript/React/Node.js/Golang. ·       Strong SQL and relational database design ·       Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) ·       Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, e.g. Terraform ·       Experience writing automated tests at unit, integration and end-to-end levels ·       A track record of leading technical work and driving outcomes ·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ·       Strong written and verbal communication skills ·       Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related field Bonus Experience: Building AI-native products or LLM-powered features OLAP or analytical data stores at scale Message queues and event streaming (e.g. Kafka) Distributed and high-throughput transactional systems Join us in building the trusted data highways that power Singapore’s digital economy.
