Project Business Controller for international operations in Västerås
Are you an experienced Project Business Controller, Project Controller, or Business Controller who wants to work closely with project management and business operations? We are now looking for a Project Business Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Västerås.
This is an opportunity for you who want to combine financial control, project follow-up, and business support in an international project environment.
About the assignment as Project Business Controller
As a Project Business Controller, you are responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in financial and commercial matters, as well as contributing to ensuring the projects' profitability and economic results.
You will work with up to five parallel projects and act as an important partner to the project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Tasks
Support Senior Project Manager in economic and commercial matters
Follow up on project budget, costs, revenues, and forecasts
Ensure correct financial reporting
Contribute to the projects' profitability and business development
Support Tender Manager in the financial parts of tender work
Participate in risk assessments and local risk review processes
Prepare decision-making material ahead of commercial negotiations
Collaborate with project management, finance, and other stakeholders

About you We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:
Experience as a Project Business Controller, Project Controller, Business Controller, or similar
Good understanding of project management, finance, and financial follow-up
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong analytical ability and a business-oriented way of working
Good communication skills and experience collaborating with project organizations
Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
