Experience: 8 years minimum Job Summary The BTP developer expert designs and develops applications to meet specific client needs. They will integrate into an S/4HANA cloud (public or private) deployment method, using the technologies provided by SAP in its BTP cloud platform. As a technical expert, he/she will support the team and be responsible for ensuring compliance with development best practices. He/she will also be responsible for training junior SAP BTP developers. Finally, he/she will be involved in an innovation process, performing technological monitoring and proposing innovative development solutions. Responsibilities Integrated into client projects and supporting functional consultants, he/she accompanies the client to define their needs, carry out the design, and produce detailed functional and technical specifications.
He/she identifies and assists in the migration of existing specific developments.
He/she develops and tests solutions, via low/no-code tools or, if necessary, from-scratch development with BAS.
He/she writes and shares the technical documentation associated with the developments performed. He/she also ensures that the code produced by the team complies with best practices via regular code review.
He/she trains junior developers, shares his/her knowledge, and supports the development team on best practices and new features related to SAP BTP.
He/she identifies innovation opportunities for the SAP BTP platform through regular technological monitoring and proposes implementations in client or internal projects.
Excellent knowledge of the SAP BTP platform (SAP Build, SAP Business Application Studio, SAPUI5, SAP integration Suite, cloud foundry features, SAP cloud connector).
Experience in ABAP application development.
Mastery of Javascript, Java, SAPUI5.
Experience in front-end or back-end application development.
Mastery of the SAP integration Suite and interface methods (API REST / SOAP and oData).
Mastery of S/4HANA cloud architecture related to extension developments.
Experience in extension development within the framework of an S/4HANA Cloud project and/or stand-alone BTP application development.
Versioning tools (e.g., git).
