Project Manager (Java)

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the conceptualization, development, and delivery of backend development projects (Java). If you have a solid technical background in Back-end development (Java), advanced mastery in the implementation of agile frameworks (Kanban and Scrum), capacity for economic control, and excellent communication with business and providers, we want to meet you! Your functions will be:

Gather and define business needs

Ensure the functional coherence of the product

Coordinate between technical teams, business, and providers

Supervise the roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of functionalities

Guarantee a high level of service and product quality

Economic control of projects

Mandatory: At least 10 years of experience in IT

At least 3 - 4 years of experience in Project Management (Depending on the position)

Experience in project development, especially in back with Java or similar.

Languages: Minimum English B2.

Necessary skills:  Kanban. Deep knowledge of Kanban implementation at team and area levels with aggregated boards including the use of indicators: Delivery time, Delivery ratio, and Work in progress limitation.

Application of Kanban principles and practices.

Design and modeling of work systems 

Visualization of workflow and WIP (Work In Progress) limitation.

Identification and management of bottlenecks.

Application of techniques for managing evolutionary change, avoiding resistance.

 Scrum. Demonstrable experience in Scrum projects and participation in its ceremonies

High mastery of Jira. Essential to know in depth:

Use of Jira boards: Scrum and Kanban.

Agile reports offered by Jira "out of the box",

Waterfall Knowledge of Project Plan and in project planning

Experience in: Management of Progress Reports

Follow-up meetings with clients

Process and Negotiation in scope changes

Project Closure

Certifications. Not mandatory but highly recommended Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
