DevOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Engineer @ Innovative Tech. Within the Nearshore teams of Devoteam Maroc, you will join the DevOps & Automation tribe: an enthusiastic team expert in operations management, automation, system reliability, and collaboration between development and operations teams. You will be the essential link to: Design, develop, and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to automate the application deployment process Describe and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and others to provide automated and reproducible provisioning of resources Implement monitoring systems to track performance metrics, detect anomalies, and trigger alerts in case of problems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and others Set up log management systems to collect, store, and analyze application and infrastructure logs Collaborate with Security teams in implementing security best practices including secrets management, security policy configuration, and if necessary, participating in potential security audits Guarantee the availability, performance, and reliability of services through the design and implementation of robust and resilient architectures complemented by load testing and chaos engineering Monitor resource usage and manage capacity planning to handle load increases while optimizing the use of existing resources Implement auto scaling mechanisms to dynamically adjust the resources to be allocated based on the workload Ensure the MCO (Maintenance in Condition of Operation) of services, including managing updates, security patches, and proactive problem resolution Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle Identify, diagnose, and quickly resolve operational issues Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, operational procedures, and best practices for service deployment and management Evaluate and implement cost optimization strategies related to infrastructure and the resources used Train teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and operational processes You will reach your full potential through mastery of your technical fundamentals, your finger-on-the-pulse knowledge of [Site Reliability Engineer] activities, and especially by asserting your desire to understand the needs and the service offering you will work on. Engineering degree or equivalent From 5 years of experience in the role Proven experience in SRE engineering Mastery of automation tools Terraform, Ansible, and others Terraform certification is a plus, confirming practical experience Mastery of Python, YAML format, and practice of the Jinja2 template engine Proven practice in secrets management/use: HashiCorp Vault, for example Proven practice of monitoring, alerting, and log collection tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, fluentd … Practice of Shell, Linux systems, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes is a plus Mastery of CI/CD integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab) and working in agile mode Understanding and implementation of SLO (Service Level Objective) targets Excellent interpersonal skills, you like working in a team A strong sense of service and commitment in your activities Knowing how to communicate and listen in all circumstances and write without mistakes … and you are fluent in english, indeed!
