Data Architect / Squad Leader Data M/F

In order to accompany and support the development of the Data activity within our Lyon agency, you will join a growing Data team composed of approximately 15 enthusiasts.

🎯 Your main missions: Consulting & Delivery: Define the clients' Data strategy, recommend complex architectures (On-Premise/Cloud), lead technical workshops, understand business needs, define architecture standards, and supervise their implementation on projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex multi-cloud projects with access to the latest partner programs (Sponsorships / Betas).

Management and team development: Supervise the Data Squad and support the skill development of consultants.

Strategic steering of the Squad: Define target technological directions with management and animate the partner ecosystem.

Pre-sales support: Work in close partnership with the Sales Data Specialist to identify growth opportunities, co-construct value propositions, and transform prospect needs into large-scale Data & IA projects.

👤 Qualifications More than 7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer and then Data Architect, ideally acquired in a consulting firm or an ESN.

Deep and imperative knowledge of all Data professions (Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Science, Governance, Business Intelligence) as well as leading market technologies and tools (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS, Azure, dbt, etc.).

Proven mastery of agile methods.

Excellent leadership, demonstrated ability to unite teams of experts, and good commercial sensitivity to support the development of major accounts in Lyon.

Proficiency in professional English.

How does the recruitment process work at Devoteam? It consists of 2 to 3 interviews:

• Tech & Business Interview: this interview aims to deepen your technical skills and verify their suitability for our needs during an exchange with a business expert

• Leadership Interview: it allows for the evaluation of your potential and ambitions, and to consider your evolution within Devoteam.

We prefer at least one interview in person. A reference check is requested and, depending on your profile, tests (technical, English, personality...) may be sent to you.

If your application is selected, we will send you a proposal presenting the hiring conditions. Upon acceptance, the employment contract is formalized.
