You will join the Cloud Governance Team, a strategic team recently reconfigured within the Infrastructure division of a large international retail group.
The mission of this team is to frame, secure, and optimize cloud usage on a global scale. The team defines best practices, automates controls, monitors usage, drives cost optimization (FinOps), and supports technical teams in increasing their maturity.
In this context, you will hold a key role in strengthening Public Cloud governance (GCP & Azure) and contributing to more controlled, high-performing, and secure usage for all entities within the group.
🎯 YOUR MISSION
In direct collaboration with the team (5 people), you will work on the following pillars: Engineering & Automation: Design, develop, and test new features and governance policies (Policies-as-Code). Consulting & Support: Provide recommendations on cloud best practices and support internal teams in their operational implementation. Architecture & Security: Apply and challenge architectural recommendations to guarantee robust environments. FinOps & Performance: Supervise cost optimization, identify opportunities for expenditure reduction without compromising performance, and guarantee the quality of usage. DevOps: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve CI/CD processes. Technical environment: Languages: Python Cloud: GCP, AWS, Azure IaC: Terraform Observability: Datadog
Hardskills: Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position (excluding apprenticeships). Development: Strong skills in Python. Experience with FastAPI is an appreciated plus. Public Cloud: Good mastery of GCP and/or Azure. Infrastructure-as-Code: Mastery of Terraform. Cross-functional expertise: Knowledge in cloud security, cost optimization (FinOps), and monitoring (Datadog). Languages: Ability to operate in an international environment (English B2 minimum). Softskills: Rigor: Sense of organization and attention to detail to ensure end-to-end follow-up. Mindset: Strong taste for automation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Pedagogy: Ability to simplify complex subjects to support various stakeholders. Interpersonal skills: Team spirit, intellectual curiosity, and proactivity to challenge the existing state.
