🎯 Main Mission The AI Native Cloud Engineer designs, automates, and optimizes cloud infrastructures specifically adapted to artificial intelligence uses and workloads. They natively rely on generative AI tools to accelerate the operation, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of cloud environments. 🛠️ Key Activities & Deliverables
- Design & Deployment of AI Infrastructures
Design and deploy robust cloud infrastructures dedicated to AI / GenAI workloads (GPU management, inference servers, AI pipelines).
Implement and configure the networking and cloud security aspects of these environments.
- Automation & "AI Native" Approach
Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Integrate and use AI tools and assistants daily for script generation, troubleshooting, and cloud architecture optimization.
- Optimization, Governance & Security
Continuously optimize scalability and performance (notably GPU and inference performance).
Drive the FinOps approach to control and optimize costs related to AI infrastructures.
Deploy security and observability solutions (monitoring, alerting, traceability).
- Ecosystem Collaboration
Actively collaborate with AI Engineers, MLOps Engineers, as well as DevOps / Platform teams.
🧳 Profile Sought & Skills Technical Skills (Hard Skills) Cloud Computing: Excellent mastery of major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as private and sovereign Cloud environments and AI implementations within these ecosystems (AI Services from Cloud providers, Nvidia services and technologies, and other manufacturers).
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible and/or Pulumi.
Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes & Docker.
Cloud Networking & Security: Solid fundamentals applied to distributed architectures.
CI/CD: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
AI Tools / Dev Assistants: Mastery of assistance tools (GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to boost productivity.
Global Understanding: Fine sensitivity to issues related to the lifecycle of data and AI models (Inference, training).
🧠 Certifications (Highly valued) AI / Cloud Specialization: Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate [AI-102] or AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate.
Cloud Architecture: Architect Certification at Professional/Expert level (Azure, GCP or AWS).
AI Infrastructures: NVIDIA Associate and/or Professional AI Infrastructure and Operations.
Orchestration: Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD).
