What to expect from us:

• You will manage your own employee base in all matters relevant to payroll and take on the tasks of a payroll accountant
• Additionally, you will take on the functional leadership of the payroll team, making independent decisions regarding uniform procedures within the team
• The determination and/or verification of one-off payments such as vacation and Christmas bonuses, as well as the variable remuneration components to be paid during the working and leave phases of partial retirement, fall within your area of responsibility
• You will create detailed evaluations and reports for management from the SAP system as required
• Coordination and participation in the introduction of new software, use of new applications, and digitalization of processes are just as much a part of your tasks as representing the Head of Payroll

What distinguishes you:

• You have completed commercial vocational training and completed further training, ideally with a focus on payroll accounting
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in payroll, ideally in an industrial company
• You have good knowledge of the Metall-Tarifvertrag
• Good user knowledge of SAP R/3 (HR module), including ZERFAS, Success Factors, and MS-Office is present
• A high degree of initiative and independence are a matter of course for you
• Empathy and helpfulness characterize you
• Business fluent English skills, willingness to travel, and flexible working hours
• You possess strong communication and teamwork skills
