We focus on high-impact roles, true ownership, and meaningful innovation – and offer you the opportunity to make a real difference with your work.

Why this role is important

  • Connectivity forms the foundation of the digital home – and its weaknesses are immediately perceived by customers.
  • Improvements in this area directly impact customer satisfaction, support costs, and the competitiveness of our products.
  • This role ensures that complex technical systems are translated into a reliable and high-quality connectivity experience.

Your task We are looking for a Lead Product Manager (m/w/d) Home Connectivity to take responsibility for the connectivity area within our Home product portfolio for all of Europe, including Germany. The area of responsibility includes routers, Mesh-Extender, as well as the underlying network functions. At the center of this role is providing the best possible customer experience in our consumer products when it comes to connectivity – from features and performance characteristics to user experience and the performance of WLAN, Mesh-Netzwerken, Routing, Forwarding, and error handling. You are responsible for product direction across several teams working in these areas. In doing so, you ensure that technical decisions, priorities, and implementation consistently contribute to true differentiation, stability, high performance, and an outstanding connectivity experience for our customers. An essential part of this role is bringing a clear end-to-end product perspective into complex technical discussions and ensuring that decisions at the system level lead to perceptible improvements in the behavior and perception of connectivity. Your other tasks include:

  • Responsibility for the product strategy and the roadmap for the connectivity components of our Home products – across routers, Mesh-Extender, and the entire network stack.
  • Shaping the way in which connectivity performance is reflected in the user experience – especially regarding WLAN quality, range, and stability.
  • Leading and coordinating several teams working on topics such as connectivity, Mesh-Netzwerken, Routing/Forwarding, as well as error analysis and repair functions.
  • Steering and critically evaluating technical and architectural decisions to ensure compelling end-to-end product results.
  • Driving systematic improvements regarding stability, performance, and error handling within the entire connectivity area.
  • Identifying and eliminating structural obstacles that impair implementation, system quality, or scalability.
  • Management of complex dependencies between teams, components, and development cycles.
  • Translating technical complexity into clear priorities and measurable results.
  • Creating clarity and orientation in a highly complex environment with numerous stakeholders.

Your profile You have a completed university degree with a focus on product lifecycle management, product roadmapping, stakeholder management, or a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you possess a comparable qualification and bring many years of professional experience in product management. Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:

  • Sound experience in product management or in technical leadership roles in the areas of connectivity, gateways, broadband, or telecommunications.
  • Solid understanding of home network technologies, such as WLAN, Mesh-Systemen, Routing, and network protocols.
  • A background in software development, computer science, or a comparable technical field.
  • The ability to evaluate and steer technical and system decisions from a strong product perspective.
  • Experience in working environments with multiple teams and strong mutual dependencies.
  • Proven ability to identify and remove obstacles in complex implementation structures.
  • A strong hands-on mentality and a high sense of responsibility with demonstrable success in implementing demanding topics.
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as the competence to translate complex systems into concrete and actionable decisions.
  • Confidence in dealing with a diverse and demanding stakeholder landscape as well as the ability to balance different interests.
  • Fluent English skills at C1 level.
