We are looking for an experienced operations professional to strengthen our platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for the stable, secure, and highly available operation of hybrid – primarily on-premise – infrastructures, complemented by modern automation solutions alongside classic operations tasks.
Tasks
- Operation, support, and continuous development of on-premise IT infrastructure
- Administration of Linux-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and middleware components
- Implementation and maintenance of automation tasks
- Design and operation of monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Grafana, Icinga or similar tools)
- Contribution to the optimization of network and firewall architectures (LAN, WAN, routing)
- Close cooperation with architecture teams to ensure stable and scalable platforms
- Participation in the on-call system to ensure high availability
Requirements
- Several years of experience in system operations (Linux, Kubernetes, security)
- Network knowledge: LAN / WAN, routing, firewalls
- Strong, practical experience in automation (Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, scripting, Python)
- CI/CD mindset and tool usage (knowledge of GitLab, Terraform / OpenTofu is an advantage)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident and problem management)
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of complex systems
- Openness to using documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira)
- Active German language skills (min. B2 level)
- English language professional communication skills
