AFR Gateway Operations Export Specialist (m/w/d)

Permanent, full-time

These challenges await you with us:

• You monitor and optimize the flow of goods via the gateway and departure station directly to the airline
• You are responsible for the consolidation of shipments in the gateway
• Additionally, you ensure the optimization of consolidation in the gateway
• You purchase ad-hoc capacities from airlines and process spot inquiries and quotations
• On a monthly basis, you ensure pre-bookings with the airlines
• You create, control, update, and distribute all necessary documents for consolidation at the gateway level in compliance with regulations and internal procedures
• The creation and processing of customs documents and customs processes, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, is part of your tasks
• You ensure that customer requirements are met and take corrective measures in case of deviations
• Additionally, you conduct correspondence with the warehouse service provider and plan the ULD build-up
• You maintain collective complaint lists and check the warehouse inventory regarding shipments and material on a weekly basis
• You create liabilities against service providers and airlines and follow them up
• Correspondence with airlines, external service providers, and stations is also part of your tasks
• You process damage and complaint cases domestically and abroad, also with the help of Exception Management
• You are responsible for your completed orders (One-File principle)
• The execution of all necessary steps for the correct billing of consolidations, as well as any billing corrections, round off your profile of activities

• Extensive knowledge of AFR export tasks
• Good administrative skills
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• Good PC skills (M365, SAP)

• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
