Training for Airline Pilot: ATPL Program (Test Pilot)

After successful completion of the EFA Program after approximately 22-24 months, you will receive a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and the Instrument Rating (IR, frozen ATPL). With this, you can apply for a position in the cockpit at all LHG Airlines and will then be “cleared for take-off.“

This exciting and varied training awaits you:

• Comprehensive theoretical training in subjects such as Navigation, Meteorology, and Air Law
• Practical training in Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) on single-engine and multi-engine aircraft
• Intensive simulator training, which prepares you for piloting a jet with a multi-crew cockpit

Your profile:

• Current DLR certificate (Should be valid for at least 1 year at the time of application) (Info at www.european-flight-academy.com)
• You have a general higher education entrance qualification/Matura/Fachhochschulreife/Fach-/Berufs-Maturität or similar, if an examination-free admission certificate to a Fachhochschule or a higher technical college is available
• A prerequisite is EU or Swiss citizenship or the citizenship of an EFTA member state
• You speak fluent English (B2)
• For the Swiss location, German is mandatory (at least B2)
• You are at least 17 years old
• You meet the requirements for an aero-medical examination
