Compliance Officer

Your responsibilities: o Analyze large and complex financial transaction datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and potential financial crime risks using Python and SQL. o Implement and improve processes and guidelines within the monitoring team in compliance with regulations (specifically, but not limited to, the areas of anti-money laundering/terrorist financing and fraud). o Analyze monitoring results to optimize the false positive/false negative ratio. o Monitor and analyze regulatory requirements and support the team in implementing relevant internal rules, standards, processes, and guidelines.

Your profile: o You have previous experience in data analysis within the financial market and experience working with large datasets and complex data structures in a regulated environment. o You have a university degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or comparable qualifications and are familiar with data analysis and statistical methods. o Relevant experience as a data analyst in the financial sector, preferably in the area of transaction monitoring, financial crime, AML/CTF, or fraud analytics. Knowledge of foreign exchange trading will be an advantage. o You have deep knowledge of relevant regulatory regulations and requirements in the area of German and EU regulations (KWG, GWG, AMLR, etc.) and a solid understanding of transaction monitoring concepts and financial crime risks. o You have very strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and Python. Databricks is an advantage. o Your profile is complemented by general technical knowledge of software architecture and networks. o Strong written, conceptual, and methodological skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. o You enjoy working in a team and a matrix organization in a multicultural, multi-local, and international environment with a high level of initiative, flexibility, commitment, and motivation. o Knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of German will be an advantage.
