Your tasks

• You will manage our customers from the automotive sector in cooperation with an experienced sales team.
• You will actively shape the internationalization of our customer portfolio and identify international growth and market potential, especially with OEMs from Asia.
• You will develop and optimize innovative rail logistics concepts and recognize business opportunities within the framework of the automotive industry's transition towards electromobility.
• Your main focus of responsibility lies in the results-oriented management of the customers assigned to you from the field of vehicle components and/or finished vehicles.
• You will build a close relationship with your customers, detect market needs at an early stage, and communicate the customer benefit to build long-term business relationships.
• You are responsible for tenders and will take the lead on sales projects in interaction with customers as well as in-/external service partners.
• You will prepare and decide on contract conclusions with customers and are responsible for the procurement of logistical services.
• You will shape your tasks in close cooperation with the internal specialist departments from the areas of Equipment and Operations.

Requirements

• You have a completed university degree in the field of logistics, business administration, or a comparable degree. Alternatively, you have completed training as a Speditionskaufmann or Industriekaufmann.
• Ideally, you have experience in the field of road/rail freight transport.
• You are familiar with the logistical requirements of transport networks.
• You see yourself as a networker and, with your communicative nature, you succeed in winning customers and colleagues over to us and our goals and products.
• You enjoy actively building customer relationships, opening up new business opportunities, and proactively approaching the market and customers.
• You are our voice at the customer by taking responsibility for offer management and realizing contract negotiations including conclusions.
• You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, an entrepreneurial way of thinking and working, as well as a confident appearance.
• Structure, independence, resilience, sense of responsibility, and a general willingness to travel round off your profile.
• Fluent English in spoken and written form is a matter of course for you.
