Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate manages receiving, unloading, organizing inventory, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This full-time role includes operating warehouse equipment, assisting inventory checks, labeling, documentation, and handling deliveries to support smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming inventory accurately and safely to maintain stock integrity
- Organize and store inventory systematically to optimize warehouse space and accessibility
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment ensuring accuracy and product care
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely following all safety protocols
- Assist with regular inventory checks and update records using handheld scanners or similar tools
- Label products and shipments clearly to ensure correct identification and tracking
- Maintain accurate documentation for all shipping and receiving activities to support traceability
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and delivery schedules
- Manage deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transport of goods to clients
- Follow standard operating procedures consistently to uphold warehouse safety and efficiency
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Singapore Driving License (essential for managing deliveries)
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes and materials as required for warehouse operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in shipping and receiving, including verifying deliveries and preparing orders for dispatch
- Proficiency in packing and unloading tasks with attention to product handling and safety
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift trucks and pallet jacks (certifications advantageous)
- Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory systems and use of handheld scanners or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in following procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Secondary education or equivalent work experience beneficial
