Your tasks

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and financial management of your assigned section, schedule planning, and the operational execution and supervision of work in cooperation with the wider project team. You will actively participate in client relations and contribute to project resourcing, working together with the Project Director and other partners.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have

• A degree in construction engineering or civil engineering, or a Master of Science in Technology (M.Sc. Tech.) or equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in earthworks or ground construction, giving you a solid understanding of the importance of project management and close collaboration between design and construction.

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure construction projects.

• Experience monitoring and forecasting project costs.

• Good English skills.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a project starting in early 2027 in Northern Ostrobothnia.

What kind of role and team would you be joining?

The position is permanent, with a start date to be agreed upon. The role requires a willingness to travel and regular travel between project sites. If you are based in another location and travel to the project site for work, Destia will reimburse work-related travel expenses, pay daily allowances, and cover accommodation costs in accordance with the company's travel policy.
