At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in Weimar.

What to expect:

• Strategic support for the purchasing department
• Contract design
• Execution of supplier evaluations
• Selection of suppliers within the framework of quality requirements
• Development and optimization of the supplier management system
• Successful conduct of price and delivery negotiations
• Participation in processing quality problems within the area of responsibility (problem analysis, development, and implementation of measures)
• Participation in inventory
• Support in the induction of new employees
• Application of QM regulations

What you bring to the role:

• Commercial vocational training, experience in the field of purchasing
• Goal- and result-oriented way of working
• Confident communication skills, strong assertiveness, and strategic thinking skills
• High organizational ability, strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of industry-specific products, processes, and technologies
• Willingness to travel internationally, foreign language skills in English
• Confident handling of SAP and basic knowledge in the area of foreign trade/customs regulations
