Senior Integration Developer

We are looking for a Senior Interoperability Developer with solid experience in microservices architecture, financial systems integration, and deployment in AWS, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining solutions that connect critical stock market ecosystems and payment systems. The role will be key in integration with platforms such as Nasdaq and core systems such as Calypso, ensuring high availability, resilience, and compliance with financial standards.

Main Responsibilities

Design & Architecture

• Gather and ensure technical and functional requirements.
• Design solutions based on microservices (synchronous and asynchronous patterns).
• Implement the complete API lifecycle (design, development, deployment, and evolution).
• Design interoperability middleware under principles of decoupling and high availability.

Development

• Build interoperability software applying best practices.
• Develop microservices in Quarkus and Java.
• Deploy in AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Implement adapters, connectors, and transformers for integration between internal and external systems.
• Apply security, architecture, and technology management standards.

Integration & Financial Ecosystem

• Integration with Nasdaq platforms.
• Implement middleware, ESB, SOA, and web services.
• Work with financial protocols (desirable: SWIFT, FIX, ISO 20022).
• Design integration solutions for heterogeneous systems.

Observability & Reliability

• Implement metrics, structured logs, and distributed traceability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Design dashboards and alerting mechanisms.
• Implement resilience strategies (Circuit Breaker, Service Discovery, API Gateway).

Agile Work

• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Data Governance.
• Perform code reviews and mentoring for less experienced engineers.

Required Profile

• Engineering/Bachelor's degree in Systems, Informatics, Electronics, or related fields.
• +5 years developing in Quarkus, Java, and microservices.
• +3 years in systems integration.
• Experience in middleware and web services.
• Knowledge of the stock market cycle and payment systems.
• Intermediate English (reading, speaking, and writing).

Key Technical Knowledge

• Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• REST APIs, SOAP, asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/RDS).
• Observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Interoperability standards (XML, JSON).
• Agile methodologies and QA practices.
