Senior Business Data Analyst – Mercados Financieros

We are looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst with experience in financial markets and data migration, who will lead integration and information quality initiatives in core market systems related to Trading, Clearing, Custody, and Settlement. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, technical capacity, and coordination skills, acting as a liaison between business teams, technology, and providers within the financial market ecosystem.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or data projects.
• Experience in data migration (on-premise to cloud).
• Experience in data governance or a similar role as a Data Steward.
• Knowledge of financial markets (desirable experience with stock market ecosystems).

Technical Knowledge

• Intermediate–advanced SQL
• Intermediate Python
• Data governance and quality
• Data models and information integration

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business areas, IT, and data teams.
• Gather, document, and validate requirements and business rules.
• Analyze and define rules, catalogs, and data guidelines for financial market processes.
• Participate in data migration and integration projects.
• Perform profiling and data quality assurance.
• Document data dictionaries, source–target mappings, and transformation rules.
• Validate data models, information flows, and technical solutions.
• Execute queries and validations using SQL and analysis or light automation with Python.
• Follow up on work plans, milestones, and dependencies of the data front.
• Manage risks, incidents, and blockers related to information and migrations.
• Coordinate work sessions with internal teams and providers.
• Prepare progress reports for the data front.
