Production Manager

• You create the production planning according to the needs of the ERP package (Dynamics AX).

For this, you also consult with the Supply Chain Manager who handles the purchase of raw materials, etc.

You also consult with the production manager of the other site and follow up with subcontractors to coordinate material flows.

• In addition to creating the planning, you are also ultimately responsible for the production execution.

In consultation with your shift leaders, you monitor the situation on the floor and adjust where necessary.

• In consultation with HR, you develop the personnel policy for the production employees.

In doing so, there is an eye for evaluation & evolution of the staff. You detect needs for polyvalence in production and act as a coach for your employees in their personal growth.

• You are responsible for the analysis of production data and the design & monitoring of KPIs (e.g., evolution of WIP stock, bottleneck & capacity analysis, etc.). For this, you can count on support from IT for the necessary data.
• Based on the production analyses, you initiate projects for process optimization in production.

• You are responsible for the proper management of production parameters in the ERP package.
• You follow up on new market trends regarding new machines, supporting production software, etc.

• You enjoy a dynamic production context with varied job content. Where necessary, you dare to make decisions and think in a solution- and customer-oriented manner for your (internal) customer.
• You are a team player with strong and motivating communication skills, both within and outside the organization.

• You have a solid basic knowledge of French-English.
• You lead the production (+-35 people) and combine this with coaching skills to allow employees to grow constructively.

• You have an analytical mind that can support decisions with figures.
• You have knowledge of process analysis and optimization (e.g., Lean techniques) and initiate and coordinate improvement projects.

• Knowledge of an ERP system is an asset. You have good knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and preferably experience with a MES package.
• You preferably hold a bachelor or master's degree in a technical field.
