Your tasks

Creation of control algorithms for machines, servo drives, robotic systems, and visualization (HMI). Working with the TwinCAT 3 (or TwinCAT 2) programming environment and other languages. Implementation of safety functions (Safety PLC, TwinCAT Safety) according to current standards. Configuration and management of industrial buses, especially EtherCAT. Integration of various peripherals, sensors, frequency converters, and servomotors from different manufacturers. Connecting the control system with supervisory systems (e.g., visualization panels, corporate networks, etc.). Commissioning machines and production lines directly at the customer's site. Calibration of drives, testing inputs/outputs, and tuning the operation of the entire system. Troubleshooting, error diagnosis in code, and optimization of machine and equipment performance. Creation and updating of technical documentation, user manuals, and functional specifications. Training of operators and maintenance staff at the end customer. Consultation with the development team, technologists, and customers regarding the feasibility of changes. Communication with other departments within DRPRAG and the parent company DEPRAG Amberg (DE).

Requirements

We require: High school or University education - field of electrical/mechatronics, cybernetics, automation. Knowledge of PC work – Microsoft office, programming systems. Knowledge of the TwinCAT 3 (or TwinCAT 2) development environment and its modular architecture, knowledge of the IEC 61131-3 standard (especially Structured Text – ST), experience with the configuration of servo drives (EtherCAT), frequency converters, and industrial buses (EtherCAT, CANopen, Profinet), HMI/visualization: creation of user interfaces, working with TwinCAT HMI, ability to read electrical documentation (wiring diagrams), independence in algorithm design, problem-solving on-site at the customer, and willingness to travel, analytical thinking and orientation towards the optimization of production processes and robotic equipment, willingness to travel and work at the parent company DEPRAG AG Amberg, Germany), flexibility, driving license group B, English language knowledge at a communicative level, German language an advantage, experience with PLC development, commissioning of machinery, programming in SIEMENS an advantage, experience in the field an advantage, independence, interest in the field.
