Project Leader West Africa

Your role You are responsible for the full project management of the assigned projects. Initially, these are projects in West Africa: You lead the projects from A to Z; you are responsible for ensuring safety, quality, project planning, and budget.

The management of contractual documents concerning legal, financial, safety, technical, and quality requirements is part of your function, and you verify whether the necessary permits are present and correct.

You monitor the budgets, the project results, and the financial reporting and safeguard the profitability of the assignment.

You manage a team of site managers, operational employees, and subcontractors. You put the right person in the right place for every aspect.

You map out the risks and solve problems that arise.

As an expert in your field, you monitor the technical and complex aspects during execution and advise the teams.

You are the point of contact for the customer.

You guarantee that everything is done according to the policies regarding safety, health, quality, and environment.

Your profile You obtained a Master of Civil Engineering/Industrial Engineering Bouwkunde or Elektromechanica.

At least 5 years of relevant (international) experience is required, preferably in civil works, utility lines, or water treatment plants.

You are flexible and willing to live and work at one of our project locations in West Africa for a longer period.

You are organizationally strong and possess solid communication skills.

You are a team player.

You are proactive, forward-looking, and assess situations correctly.

You have an affinity for working in a multicultural context.

You speak fluent French and English.
