Wind Turbine Service Technician

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will join a growing international organization specialized in the maintenance and service of wind turbines. What will you do? As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbines, with the aim of guaranteeing maximum availability and reliability of the installations. You will work with various electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and converter technical systems and power electronics, making every workday different.

• You perform preventive and curative maintenance on wind turbines.
• You troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults and ensure an efficient solution.
• You support inspections, fault analyses, and determining the underlying cause of technical problems.
• You perform technical interventions on various electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and converter installations.
• You report performed work, faults, and any incidents according to the applicable HSE procedures.
• You follow the specific procedures and safety regulations of the client and the work location.
• You ensure that all work is carried out safely and according to the applicable quality and safety standards.
• You work closely with fellow technicians and technical support teams.
• You participate in an on-call rotation for interventions outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• You possess a technical Bachelor's degree in Elektrotechniek or Elektromechanica, or are equivalent through experience.
• You have experience as a technician, preferably within industrial maintenance.
• You have a practical, hands-on mindset and work proactively and solution-oriented.
• You are flexible and willing to travel between different wind farms in Belgium, but mainly around Brussels.
• You have a good knowledge of English.
• You possess a driving license B.
