Many challenges, learning, and growth await you at DWS Brazil!#comebeadwsianWe are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to work on the evolution and optimization of a web platform, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving user experience and increasing conversion rates. The position will work in partnership with UX, data, and business teams to implement improvements related to navigation, content, images, layout, and site performance. The project involves identifying conversion opportunities on mobile devices and desktops, supported by data analysis, testing, and insight generation.Responsibilities and assignmentsYou will be responsible for:Developing, maintaining, and evolving back-end applications, services, and integrations using Drupal. Technically implementing improvements aimed at user experience, site performance, and increasing conversion rates. Analyzing business requirements and translating them into efficient, secure, and scalable technical solutions. Designing, implementing, and sustaining APIs and integrations between systems. Ensuring the availability, reliability, quality, and performance of the developed solutions. Supporting the implementation of tests and experiments on the site, working in collaboration with UX, data, and front-end teams. Investigating problems, identifying causes, and implementing fixes or improvements. Creating and maintaining tests and technical documentation. Executing corrective and evolutionary maintenance activities. Participating in technical discussions and contributing with development best practicesRequirements and qualificationsFor this position, it is important that you have:Solid experience with back-end development. Hands-on experience with Drupal. Experience in the development and integration of APIs and services. Knowledge of web application architecture, security, performance, and scalability. Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Ability to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions. Knowledge of version control, such as Git. Knowledge of JavaScript, especially to support integrations and implementations in web environments.Advanced knowledge of English for verbal and written communicationWill be nice if you have:Experience with Pantheon. Experience in conversion optimization or e-commerce projects. Knowledge of A/B testing, personalization, or experimentation tools. Familiarity with website performance metrics and optimization for mobile and desktop devices. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including UX, analytics, content, and front-end.
