EUC Modern Workplace Engineer

Responsibilities and assignments We are looking for an EUC Modern Workplace Engineer to work in the administration, maintenance, and evolution of the Windows endpoint environment in a global context.

How will your routine be? You will be responsible for:

• Acting in 3rd and 4th level technical support for Windows, Microsoft Intune, and MECM/SCCM environments;
• Administering and maintaining endpoint devices and configurations through Microsoft Intune;
• Working with configuration policies, compliance, device targeting, reporting, and troubleshooting;
• Managing and solving problems related to Windows Autopilot, including device enrollment, deployment profiles, pre-provisioning, and build validation;
• Administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environments, including clients, deployments, collections, and content distribution;
• Performing packaging, testing, and application distribution using Intune and MECM, including Win32 Apps, MSI/MSIX, and PSAppDeploy;
• Developing and using PowerShell scripts for automation, remediation, reporting, and operational support;
• Planning, executing, and monitoring update and patch application processes in Windows environments and applications;
• Acting in the investigation and resolution of incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis;
• Working with incident, problem, and change management processes within a structure aligned with ITIL;
• Supporting provisioning, configuration, compliance, and endpoint security processes on a large scale;
• Collaborating with Service Desk, Security, Infrastructure, applications, and vendor teams;
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles;
• Contributing to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives for endpoint services;
• Supporting initiatives related to the device lifecycle, preparation for Windows 11, and improving the user experience.

Requirements and qualifications For this position, it is important that you have:

• Practical experience with administration and support of Microsoft Intune and/or MECM/SCCM in corporate environments;
• Solid experience with Windows endpoint troubleshooting, including operating system, drivers, connectivity, authentication, performance, and application distribution;
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, including device provisioning and deployment processes;
• Experience with application packaging and distribution using Intune and/or MECM;
• Knowledge of PowerShell for automation, troubleshooting, remediation, and operational support;
• Experience with update and patch management in Windows environments;
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, Group Policy, and hybrid environment concepts;
• Knowledge of endpoint security, including BitLocker, security baselines, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps for deployment, updating, and troubleshooting;
• Experience working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes;
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and propose permanent solutions for recurring problems;
• Skill in producing technical documentation and runbooks;
• Advanced English, with the ability to act in a global environment and communicate with people from different areas and locations.

It will be a differentiator:

• Microsoft Certifications related to Endpoint, Modern Desktop, or related areas;
• ITIL certification or knowledge;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph, workflow automation, and APIs;
• Experience with Log Analytics and KQL;
• Experience with Nexthink for endpoint health monitoring and analysis;
• Experience with CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager;
• Experience working with Microsoft, hardware manufacturers, and third-party vendors;
• Experience in global endpoint lifecycle management environments;
• Knowledge of preparation and migration processes for Windows 11.
