We are looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to join a global technology team, working on the support, administration, and evolution of application and virtual desktop environments. This position will have a strong focus on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of the environments, in addition to contributing to their evolution through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities and duties How your day-to-day will be:Administrate, support, and evolve Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments;

Act in troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents related to applications and virtual desktops;

Publish and manage applications and desktops;

Ensure the availability, stability, security, and monitoring of the environments;

Administrate Azure components related to the environment, such as Virtual Hosts, Resource Groups, NSGs, Image Gallery, FSLogix, Storage Accounts, and Route Tables;

Work with Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Conditional Access;

Contribute to automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps initiatives;

Support the creation and evolution of new environments and solutions;

Participate in the continuous improvement of the platform and global infrastructure initiatives;

Act as a technical escalation point for incidents, problems, requests, and changes related to the platform.

Requirements and qualifications For this position, it is important that you have:Solid experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD);

Practical experience with Microsoft Azure environments;

Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy;

Knowledge of Entra ID and Conditional Access;

Experience with Virtual Desktop / Remote Applications environments;

Strong troubleshooting capacity in infrastructure environments;

Experience in large-scale corporate environments;

Knowledge of IT Service Management / ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management;

English for acting in a global team.

It will be nice if you have:Experience with Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp;

Knowledge of Citrix Cloud;

Experience with NetScaler;

Knowledge of Microsoft RDS / RemoteApp;

Experience with Nerdio;

Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD;

Microsoft Azure Certifications.
