Extra Help/On-call Substitute Service Worker Backstube Grønland

Backstube is looking for smiling and service-oriented on-call substitutes for Backstube Grønland. There may be a possibility for permanent employment in the long term, if the need and desire are there.

Who are you?

You like to take care of guests and contribute to the team functioning well. You have good work capacity, thrive in an international work environment with a high tempo, and handle stress in a good way.

You collaborate well with others, but are also confident in working independently and taking initiative. It is important to us that you understand the importance of quality, hygiene, and good customer service.

You can communicate well in both Norwegian and English. Experience from similar work is an advantage, but not a requirement – we are primarily looking for potential and good personal qualities.

Tasks

With us, you will meet customers, help them at the register, give advice, and contribute to upselling. You prepare and bake various types of pastries, prepare baguettes, and restock goods and drinks.

You ensure that the kitchen, storage, and seating areas are clean and tidy, and follow our routines for quality, hygiene, and safety. Some shifts also involve opening or closing the store.

We provide thorough training and good development opportunities in a growing company. Shifts last between 5 and 7.5 hours, and working hours are between 05:30 and 21:00. We have various shift types throughout the day, and you should expect to work every other weekend.

Sometimes you work together with colleagues, while on certain shifts you work alone and have responsibility for the entire store.

We are now specifically looking for on-call substitutes who can be available either for early morning shifts starting at 05:30, or for evening shifts lasting until 21:00. It is an advantage if you are flexible and can step in as needed.
