On a mission At DeltaQuad, you’ll work on technology that truly matters. As a pioneer in long-range electric VTOL drones (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), we develop robust systems in collaboration with trusted partners, which are deployed across the globe for defence, agriculture and inspection. Our drones are reliable, user-friendly, and built to perform in demanding environments. We combine technical innovation with a pragmatic mindset. What we do today shapes where we’ll be tomorrow, and you’ll play a crucial role in that journey. Our core values Partnerships – Growing together through long-term collaboration

Customer focus – Thinking and acting with the customer in mind

Ownership – Taking responsibility for what we do

Innovation – Finding smart, practical solutions

Excellence – Focused on quality and results

Team spirit – Building trust, growth, and enjoyment together

The role As a UAV Test Pilot at DeltaQuad, you are responsible for testing and validating our UAV systems before they are ready for operational use. Your focus is on structured, hands-on testing. You prepare and conduct test flights, evaluate how our systems perform in different conditions and identify behaviour, deviations or technical issues that require further attention. This means doing more than simply flying the aircraft. You understand what you are testing and why, closely observe how the system responds and use flight data, telemetry and your own observations to build a clear picture of its performance. You work closely with Engineering and Production, providing them with practical and accurate feedback from testing. When something does not behave as expected, you investigate, reproduce the issue where possible and help determine what needs to happen next. From VTOL and transition behaviour to flight stability, sensors and integrated systems, your testing helps us continuously improve the reliability, safety and performance of DeltaQuad UAVs. Key responsibilities Prepare and execute UAV test flights for system and performance validation

Test UAV functionality across different flight phases, configurations and operational conditions

Perform functional checks and calibrations as part of test preparation and validation

Monitor aircraft behaviour during testing and identify deviations or unexpected system behaviour

Analyse flight logs, telemetry and other test data to investigate findings

Troubleshoot and reproduce technical issues identified during testing

Document test results, findings and observations clearly and consistently

Provide practical feedback to Engineering and Production and support follow-up testing after changes or improvements

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of test procedures and protocols

Ensure all flight testing is conducted safely and in accordance with operational procedures and applicable regulations

What you bring Valid EU drone pilot certificates A1, A2 and A3

Practical experience operating UAVs and a strong interest in UAV technology and flight behaviour

A technical mindset and the ability to understand how different UAV systems interact

Experience with UAV testing, flight testing, robotics or similar technical systems is a strong plus

Comfortable working with flight logs, telemetry and technical data, or motivated to develop these skills

A structured approach to testing: you observe carefully, document accurately and don't stop at “it works” or “it doesn't”

Strong troubleshooting skills and curiosity to understand why a system behaves the way it does

Comfortable working hands-on with UAV hardware and in outdoor test environments

Able to communicate technical findings clearly to different teams

Fluent in English

Who you are Technically curious: You want to understand how a UAV behaves and why. When something doesn't perform as expected, your instinct is to investigate.

Observant and precise: You notice small deviations, pay attention to detail and know that good testing depends on accurate observations.

Hands-on: You enjoy working with real systems, being outdoors and putting technology through its paces rather than only analysing it from behind a desk.

Structured: You follow test procedures carefully, document what you see and make sure findings can be understood and reproduced by others.

Safety-conscious: You understand the responsibility that comes with flight testing and stay focused and disciplined during operations.

A problem solver: You don't stop at identifying that something isn't working. You want to understand the cause and help find the next step.

Collaborative: You communicate clearly with Engineering and Production and can turn what you observe in the field into useful technical feedback.
