Head of Business Operations

Your tasks

We are seeking a Head of Business Operations to work closely with the CEO in translating business priorities into practical operating plans and coordinating their execution.

This is a hands-on role covering business operations, cross-functional project coordination, partnership coordination and market research. You will help connect development activities with commercial objectives and establish effective working processes as the business grows.

• Translate business priorities into operating plans, project milestones and measurable objectives.
• Coordinate with development, product, marketing and business development stakeholders to track progress, manage dependencies and resolve delivery issues.
• Plan and coordinate operational activities for product launches, ecosystem initiatives and marketing campaigns.
• Own and improve internal operating workflows, reporting routines and project documentation to support consistent execution.
• Conduct market, competitor and ecosystem research to support business planning and assess potential commercial opportunities.
• Evaluate potential business partnerships, prepare proposals and coordinate meetings, onboarding and follow-up actions.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to prepare business presentations, announcements and other external communications.
• Monitor operational and campaign performance, consolidate findings and recommend practical improvements.
• Support budget planning, expense tracking and resource coordination within approved limits.
• Attend overseas partner meetings, project discussions and relevant industry events, and ensure agreed actions are followed through.

Requirements

• A recognised degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant experience in business operations, project coordination or commercial execution, with demonstrated ownership of projects or operational initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Web3 products and blockchain ecosystems, and the ability to understand their practical business applications.
• Ability to manage schedules, track dependencies and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders through to delivery.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn findings into practical business recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the preparation of proposals, business updates and stakeholder presentations.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks and operate effectively in an early-stage startup environment.
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent international business travel.

Preferred Experience

• Operational experience in a Web3, DeFi or technology startup.
• Exposure to Web3 product launches, ecosystem partnerships or commercialisation initiatives.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools, workflow automation or data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL or Python.
