Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager within Delta Rail, you will contribute to the development of the multimodal operator's business. In this capacity, you will develop and retain a client portfolio composed of industrial companies, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and carriers. Your objective: to offer a high-performance door-to-door transport service tailored to the needs of each client.
Your missions will be as follows:
- Prospecting and commercial development
- Identify and assess the needs of prospects and clients,
- Propose commercial offers (transport plans, rates, and other conditions) previously approved by Management.
- Conduct negotiations until an order is signed.
- Encourage prospects and clients to commit to annual order volumes.
- Identify potential business influencers and submit relevant strategic partnerships to Management.
- Update the client database (recording client offers, price quotes, volume, etc.)
- Brand image preservation
- Create and develop lasting, high-quality commercial relationships.
- Build connections in the monitoring of service delivery in coordination with the Customer Service and Railway Operations departments.
- Perform competitive intelligence with a view to offering innovative solutions (transport plans, schedules, services, etc.)
- Participate in events and clubs, gatherings, and trade fairs to establish the company's presence and for networking.
Could it be you? You have...
- A BAC+3 to BAC+5 degree in Commerce, Sales, or Transport / Logistics.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Transport sector (maritime being a plus).
- A B2 level in English; a third language would be a plus.
- Abilities in drafting and presenting offers, negotiation, prospecting and commercial follow-up, and appointment organization.
- A conquering spirit, reactivity, dynamism, perseverance, and a customer orientation.
