Project Manager - Asset Management
£52,052 per annum Chelmsford Permanent Full-Time
We are looking for a Project Manager within our Asset Management team to provide a full project management and commissioning service from design to completion for all major works construction and maintenance projects as initiated across Delta.
What you'll be doing
Commissioning, planning and delivering construction and maintenance projects of major works as required to Delta’s assets across building safety and asset management. Planning and designing projects, monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions. Leading project delivery, from mobilisation to closure. Inputting into supplier tendering, ensuring that the best sourcing model is adopted to ensure that projects deliver to time, quality and budget. Supporting programme management by providing programme-based status updates if appropriate (for example if a project falls within an overarching programme of works).
What we are looking for
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. HNC/HTEC Building (or equivalent). Experience of delivering housing maintenance and construction projects to time, budget, and quality. Experience of leading external suppliers to a common, shared set of objectives, with a consistent clear way of working. Experience of complex investment case analysis, interpretation and management. Innovation and problem solving to ensure that opportunities to deliver are maximised whenever possible. Strong communication skills to achieve rapid delivery through others.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role may require you to be based from the office full time initially before going out on site, where the split will be 4 days out on site and 1 day in the office or as per business need.
