Quality Specialist

Your tasks

Objective Perform product inspection or testing to completion on time and in accordance with standard processes to ensure that products shipped from Suppliers to Delta meet quality requirements. Conduct testing and verify product accuracy in accordance with customer requirements to ensure that products possess properties meeting design specifications. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager Thailand.

Main Responsibilities Perform inspections of products from Suppliers in Thailand. Conduct on-site product inspections correctly according to processes and standards prior to shipment. Manage inspection result report documents and report test results to the supervisor. Perform product testing and oversee the maintenance of testing equipment. Operate product testing equipment and report results, such as Salt Spray testing, Heat Quenching, Thermal Cycle, and Functional Testing. Oversee and maintain testing equipment of the Thailand office to ensure it is in ready-to-use condition. Support the development of Supplier testing capabilities. Regularly perform correlation of test results between the Thailand office laboratory and the Supplier's laboratory. Analyze discrepancies and propose corrective actions to ensure consistent test results. Coordinate and provide on-site support together with the ASCM team. Work with the ASCM team to provide effective on-site support.

Requirements

1. Graduated at College level or equivalent educational qualification.
2. At least 1 year of relevant experience in quality management.
3. Experience in the plumbing system industry will be specially considered.
4. Good knowledge and understanding of Quality Control (QC Workflow) processes.
5. Able to read and understand Mechanical Drawings.
6. Experience in using testing instruments will be specially considered.
7. Able to read and write English at a level suitable for preparing reports.
8. Ability to communicate in Mandarin at a conversational level will be specially considered.
9. Familiarity with the use of Mechanical Measuring Tools.
10. Proficient in using office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
11. Skills in using SAP system will be specially considered.
