Software Developer for Embedded Systems (m/f/d)
Within Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Delta IBT), we develop and produce the next generation of integrated solutions for building automation, lighting, and security in Vienna under the LOYTEC brand. LOYTEC automation solutions use graphical user interfaces, open communication protocols, and follow international standards. In this way, we contribute to realizing long-term retrofittable, energy-saving, and thus sustainable networked buildings.
Your tasks as a Software Developer
- Embedded programming in C
- Implementation of communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and OPC UA
- Integration of web services such as REST-API connections to a cloud platform
- Use of communication technologies such as MQTT, BACnet SC, and HTTPS
- Creation of test plans and programs on a module and system basis in Python
You bring the following for this position
- Completed education in the field of computer science, electronics, or electrical engineering
- Experience in programming RTOS environments or Embedded Linux in C or C++
- Knowledge of Python, Java-Script, node.js, and web engineering
- Willingness to undergo further training in the field of Linux application development
- Good English skills
