Your Tasks
- Help shape the compensation architecture for EMEA: You translate the pay philosophy into country-specific guidelines, budgets, and processes and advise subsidiaries on strategic compensation planning.
- You evaluate positions according to established methods (e.g., Hay, Mercer IPE), derive consistent salary bands from them, and keep the band architecture up to date across countries and functions – including salary ranges and geo-differentials based on market pricing and salary surveys.
- You systematically review compensation decisions (offers, adjustments, retention, promotions) for market competitiveness, internal fairness, compliance, and governance.
- You create meaningful analyses and reports (comp-ratio, range penetration, pay equity), derive concrete measures – and make their impact measurable.
- A special focus is the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- You develop guidelines, toolkits, and trainings, empower HR Business Partners and managers, and ensure clear, understandable reward communication.
- You manage EMEA-wide C&B projects and coordinate the interface with payroll – without operational payroll processing.
- If necessary, you also assume deputy responsibility for colleagues.
- Situational willingness to travel completes your profile.
Your Profile
- Completed degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., BWL, HR, finance).
- (esrte) Experience in Compensation & Reward, ideally in an EMEA context.
- Experience in dealing with job evaluation and grading (e.g., Hay, Mercer IPE) as well as with the construction and maintenance of salary bands and pay ranges.
- Good analytical strength and KPI-oriented way of working.
- Proficiency with HRIS compensation modules (Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM).
- Initial experience with project work, preferably in cross-border projects.
- Initial experience in dealing with internal stakeholders as well as colleagues from the specialist department.
- You possess clear, factual communication.
- Proactive, independent way of working with high attention to detail.
- Enjoyment in guiding and developing team members and subsidiaries.
- Very good English; German desirable.
