(Junior) Compensation Specialist – EMEA (m/f/d)
Delphi HR-Consulting GmbH
Do you want to do more than just juggle numbers – do you want to understand how fair and competitive compensation really works? The company is one of the world's leading providers in its field of healthcare and medical technology. Its diagnostic solutions are used in clinics and research institutions around the globe – making diagnoses more precise and treatments more effective. Here, you will operate in an international, dynamic environment and make a contribution that actually reaches the lives of patients. The European headquarters is located in Germany; several thousand employees are employed across EMEA.
Your Tasks
- You will actively contribute to the further development of the compensation architecture for EMEA and support the translation of the pay philosophy into country-specific guidelines, budgets, and processes.
- You will evaluate positions according to established methods (e.g., Hay, Mercer IPE) and help keep consistent salary bands up to date across countries and functions – including salary ranges and geo-differentials based on market pricing and salary surveys.
- You will review compensation decisions (offers, adjustments, retention, promotions) for market competitiveness, internal fairness, compliance, and governance.
- You will create analyses and reports (comp-ratio, range penetration, pay equity) and derive concrete measures from them.
- An exciting future topic for you: the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- You will participate in the development of guidelines, toolkits, and training, and support HR Business Partners and managers with clear, understandable reward communication.
- You will contribute to EMEA-wide C&B projects and work closely with the interface to payroll – without operational payroll processing.
- If necessary, you will also represent colleagues within the team.
- Occasional willingness to travel completes your profile.
Your Profile
- A completed degree or a comparable qualification (e.g., BWL, HR, finance).
- Around 3–7 years of professional experience in the field of Compensation & Benefits or HR-Controlling – initial contact with EMEA is a plus, but not a must.
- Initial practical experience with job evaluation and grading (e.g., Hay, Mercer IPE) as well as with salary bands and pay ranges – you want to further develop in these areas.
- Analytical thinking and a structured, KPI-oriented way of working.
- Initial user knowledge in HRIS compensation modules (Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) is an advantage.
- Desire for project work, preferably in cross-country teams.
- You approach people openly and communicate clearly and objectively.
- A proactive, independent way of working with an eye for detail.
- Very good English; German is an advantage.
Your Benefits
- International, appreciative corporate culture with hybrid working, flexible hours, and 30 days of vacation.
- Christmas and holiday bonuses, childcare allowance, company pension scheme, and subsidized lunch.
- Health offers ranging from gym memberships to courses and massages – plus Deutschlandticket subsidy, free parking, and Jobrad.
