The Risk Management team is responsible for performing client onboarding, engagement acceptance, and ongoing engagement checks for a wide range of services and clients locally and globally. The role combines research, information analysis, professional judgment, and working with many interfaces within the firm and Deloitte companies worldwide, while using a variety of advanced information systems and open-source information.

Main areas of responsibility:

• In-depth research and information science (Web Research & OSINT): Performing independent and comprehensive investigations on the web (Google Search, databases, and internal and external systems) for the purpose of identity verification, reputation assessment, and risk identification.
• Analysis of corporate structures: Reading and analyzing financial reports, annual reports, and incorporation documents to understand control structures, ultimate beneficial owners, and business relationships.
• Information distillation and "red flag" identification: Identifying regulatory issues, reputation risks, and red flags that may affect client acceptance and engagement decisions.
• Conflicts of Interest checking: Analyzing and assessing proposed engagements to examine the existence of potential conflicts of interest.
• Working with multiple interfaces: Managing checking processes in close coordination with partners and managers in the firm, local client teams, and colleagues in the global network.

Job requirements:

• Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems in a dynamic and changing environment - Mandatory
• Excellent ability to distinguish between the essential and the trivial and the ability to process large amounts of information into conclusions – Mandatory
• Accuracy and attention to detail: Paying attention to small details in data analysis – Mandatory
• High level of English (writing, reading, and professional phrasing) – Mandatory
• Full proficiency in Office applications – Experience
• A significant part of the work is conducted in English with international interfaces
• Basic business understanding / familiarity with the corporate and finance world
• Familiarity with ownership structures, types of companies, and reading reports – Significant advantage
• Experience working with Salesforce – Advantage
• Willingness to work hard and meet deadlines - The role may sometimes require working beyond standard hours
