Job Description The Global Incentives Service (GIS) team functions as a Center of Excellence with a clear mission: to revolutionize the way we interact with our millions of users, partners, and riders through intelligent, personalized, and efficient incentives. We design, develop, and scale these Data solutions for all Delivery Hero group brands worldwide. Your tasks

As a Data Scientist in GIS, your mission is to develop data products and Machine Learning (ML) models to optimize decision-making regarding incentive allocation. You will be responsible for the evolution and performance of ML and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, ensuring decisions are based on robust data. This role combines technical excellence with a deep business vision to generate maximum impact.

• Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) models and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, applying best practices.
• Lead data analysis to identify strategic opportunities and propose improvements in processes and products.
• Guarantee the high performance, scalability, and robustness of data products implemented in different markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, UX, and Analysts) to define KPIs, perform A/B testing, and ensure technical alignment with the rest of the Data Scientists.
• Monitor model performance in production, resolving incidents and promoting technical knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science applying Machine Learning (ML) models to real business problems.
• Solid academic background in quantitative or related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering).
• Expert mastery of Python (including key libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and advanced SQL management.
• Solid foundations in statistics, probability, and ML algorithms.
• Demonstrable experience working with data models in a production environment.
• Advanced English level for communication with global teams.
