Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a person with several years of practical experience in operating complex IT infrastructures, who takes on technical responsibility and drives topics forward independently.

You work in a structured and independent manner, question existing solutions, and contribute concrete suggestions for improvement. In the event of malfunctions, you do not limit yourself to symptom relief, but look for their cause and a sustainable solution.

• Sound practical experience in the conception, operation, and further development of enterprise backup and recovery infrastructures

• Ideally, very good practical experience with NetBackup

• Experience with Disaster Recovery, restore scenarios, and the execution of recovery tests

• Experience in the operation and troubleshooting of Linux systems is an advantage

• Experience in collaborating with international locations and teams

• Solid understanding of classic infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, network, and virtualization

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems in a structured manner and develop solutions independently

• Very good communication skills as well as an open and team-oriented way of working

• Very good English skills (C1) in speaking and writing

• Willingness for occasional business travel

You do not need to master every one of the mentioned technologies in detail. What is decisive for us is sound experience in the field of Backup & Recovery, a broad understanding of infrastructure, as well as the ability to take on technical responsibility and drive topics forward independently.
