Production Supervisor

About the company

On behalf of our client, one of the leading Greek flexible food packaging industries, with a strong presence in Europe, America, and Australia, we are looking for a Production Supervisor to strengthen their factory team in Koropi, Attica.

Your tasks

As part of the role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the production process during the shift, ensuring the achievement of production targets, adherence to quality standards, and consistent implementation of health and safety procedures.

What your day will include Your role focuses on organizing, coordinating, and supervising the production team during the shift, allocating tasks, and monitoring employee performance. You will ensure the smooth operation of the production lines and the achievement of daily productivity targets, while monitoring the correct operation of the machinery, addressing technical problems immediately or reporting them where necessary. You will also check the correct implementation of production, quality, hygiene, and safety procedures, you will train, guide, and support the production staff, and keep production reports and shift data up to date. Simultaneously, you will ensure compliance with Health & Safety rules and promote a safe working culture.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of TEI or technical school
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial production environment
• Experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Foreman, or Production Coordinator will be considered a significant advantage
• Good knowledge of production processes and the implementation of safety rules
• Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule
• Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively
• Leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a demanding production environment
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and result-orientation
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of the English language
