Role Description

The Company Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. This role is responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport goods and materials between locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo, and maintaining accurate delivery and mileage records. The Company Driver interacts with internal teams and external partners, upholding professional communication and customer service standards. The role also involves adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs, and supporting logistics operations as required.

Key Requirements

• 10–15 years of proven professional driving experience.
• Valid Ghanaian Driver's License.
• Good knowledge of Accra and surrounding areas.
• Clean and responsible driving record.
• Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles responsibly.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual, trustworthy, discreet, and professional.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport management, staff, and authorized persons as required.
• Ensure timely and efficient transportation to scheduled destinations.
• Conduct routine checks on the assigned vehicle and report faults promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform official errands and other driving-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
