Project Manager Trade Compliance (m/w/d) (Compliance Manager)

Tasks:

• You monitor the development of relevant customs and foreign trade law compliance requirements, particularly in the areas of customs, export control, and prohibitions and restrictions.
• You maintain contact with the responsible authorities as well as with associations and, if necessary, with external consultants.
• You independently lead projects related to customs and foreign trade law.
• You support the operational areas in the implementation of compliance measures as well as in clarification cases in operational processing.
• You actively participate in the redesign of the required IT infrastructure in the Deichmann-Gruppe, including data management.
• You ensure the documentation and monitoring of operational processes.
• You manage a group-wide internal company network and support the specialist departments through regular exchange, advice, and training.
• You actively participate in the further development of group standards in the area of Trade Compliance.

Profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in the fields of law, economics, IT, or comparable fields, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have good knowledge in the field of Trade Compliance - for example, in the areas of customs, foreign trade law, export control, or prohibitions and restrictions.
• You have experience in the field of project management and are familiar with working at the interface between specialist departments and IT.
• You are interested in expanding your knowledge and familiarizing yourself with new subject areas.
• You have already gained relevant practical experience in companies or authorities.
• You have an independent, analytical, and structured way of working.
• You impress with very good organizational skills.
• You have a very high IT affinity and ideally have already gained experience in the field of process automation or data management.
• Personal integrity, assertiveness, and resilience characterize you.
• You enjoy interacting with other people and represent the company to authorities in a confident and convincing manner.
• You are characterized by a high level of commitment and personal responsibility, as well as a quality orientation and teamwork skills.
• Your good English skills round off your profile.
