For the Global Procurement department, we are looking for a Project Buyer (m/f/d) as soon as possible, who combines technical affinity with an entrepreneurial mindset and will use their experience in global project procurement to our advantage.

Your tasks

• Ensuring a successful product development process (PEP) with regard to cost, time, and quality
• Responsibility for the procurement of raw materials, purchased parts, tools, and project-related services (e.g., development services)
• Supporting development projects to achieve procurement goals
• Independent planning, control, and implementation of purchasing projects in interdisciplinary teams
• Analysis of national and international procurement markets and identification of suitable suppliers
• Participation in cross-functional teams during the introduction of new products and technologies
• Initiation, participation, and execution of make-or-buy analyses
• Execution of technical inquiries and coordination between development, quality, and suppliers
• Technical purchasing, including clarification of technical specifications and drawings
• Independent contract and price negotiations with suppliers
• Active cost and risk management along the supply chain
• Development and implementation of supply chain concepts (e.g., inventory, logistics, and procurement strategies)
• International project coordination (purchasing projects) with the subsidiaries of the corporate group

Your profile

• Successfully completed degree in engineering or business administration, or a comparable vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in global procurement
• High social competence
• Responsible, cost-conscious, and proactive thinking & acting
• Assertiveness and resilience
• Independent working style
• Business fluent English
• Proficient use of MS-Office and SAP
