Lead Demand/Supply Chain Analyst

Major duties
- Analyzes demand/supply chain performance critical data across all processes and advises on the probable effects of alternative solutions to supply chain problems.
- Functions as a Team Lead, coaches, mentors and facilitates duties of the team.
- Generates, monitors, revises, analyzes and evaluates KPIs, metrics and other process performance critical data to ensure demand/supply chain is meeting its performance targets.
- Performs capability studies and demand/supply chain evaluation studies, reviews studies performed by internal and external personnel for technical accuracy or applicability.
- Ensures the appropriate level of coordination and integration with DLA HQ, DLA Troop Support Command, Business Process Analysts, Process Owners and Demand and Supply Chain Analysts.
- Coordinates a team approach of shared responsibilities and commitments to provide improved support to internal/external operations/processes.
- Creates and maintains SAS-Viya, BigQuery, SQL, Qlik, Power BI, Looker and similar software computer programs for the purpose of collecting data, generating reports and visualizations.
Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Demand/Supply Chain Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Managing processes in the demand/supply chain management space. Analyzing and evaluating Key Performance Indicators, metrics, or other performance critical data. Utilizing supply systems to gather data for analytical studies of demand/supply chain activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
