Grants & Contracts Manager
Responsibilities:
Manage the complete lifecycle of grants, consulting agreements, subawards, purchase orders, and contracts from initiation through closeout. Prepare, review, and coordinate execution of contracts, Statements of Work, budgets, amendments, payment schedules, and supporting documentation. Coordinate approval workflows and ensure agreements are fully executed before work begins. Work closely with Program Managers to monitor implementation progress, deliverables, budgets, and contract compliance. Review invoices, financial reports, supporting documentation, and technical deliverables before processing payments. Coordinate timely payment processing with Finance while ensuring compliance with contract terms and donor requirements. Maintain contract tracking systems and monitor milestones, expirations, amendments, deliverables, and payment schedules. Serve as the primary liaison among HPS staff, IFPRI counterparts, Network Entity partners, consultants, vendors, and implementing partners. Support proposal development by assisting with budgets, partner documentation, and agreement preparation. Ensure compliance with HPS policies, donor regulations, procurement requirements, tax documentation, and record retention standards. Prepare documentation for internal reviews, donor monitoring, and external audits. Identify contract risks, resolve operational issues, and recommend process improvements. Develop SOPs, templates, checklists, and training materials to improve grants and contract administration.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience A minimum of an MSc./MBA degree in a related field
