Role Description This full-time, on-site Data Science Instructor role is based in Ibadan and involves teaching learners foundational and advanced concepts in data science and related quantitative fields. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons, create practical projects, and develop assessments that align with curriculum objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, facilitating classroom sessions and labs, mentoring learners, and providing constructive feedback to support their progress. The role also includes collaborating with other instructors to refine course content, integrating real-world examples and industry tools, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Science Education and Physics skills relevant to teaching technical and analytical concepts.
• Candidates should possess solid Mathematics skills to support instruction in statistics, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving.
• Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with experience in lesson delivery, classroom management, and learner assessment.
• Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, outcomes-based courses and activities.
• Relevant experience teaching data science, computer science, or related STEM subjects is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with data science tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, machine learning frameworks) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities, with a learner-centered teaching approach.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
