Design Technician - Mechanical Design M/F

////// CONTEXT AND MISSION

As part of the development of DEDIENNE AEROSPACE activities, our Design Office wishes to recruit a Design Technician - Mechanical Design M/F.

Your missions will be to take charge of the mechanical design of aeronautical maintenance tooling and to produce standardized drawings and the entire associated documentation packages.

////// JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of the DEDIENNE AEROSPACE Design Office, supervised by the Design Office Director and managed by a Department Manager.

Your activities in general will be:

-Contribute to technical and budgetary feasibility studies based on a technical need issued by the Client. -Perform 3D design, 2D drafting, and the bill of materials according to the technical specifications. -Evaluate the work to be carried out regarding the technical aspect, the associated schedule, and the objectives to be achieved. -Contribute to the testing campaigns of technical solutions and to design evolutions based on test results. -Define and dimension components and solutions: technical feasibility, existing documentation, development costs. -Perform the entry of new components (references, designations, characteristics) and develop manufacturing bills of materials. -Maintain the ERP directories up to date and guarantee the traceability of studies.

////// PROFILE

Coming from higher education in Mechanical Engineering-Industrial Drawing-Design, you have acquired skills and knowledge in the design of tooling for the aeronautical sector or similar mechanical products: Heavy Vehicles and trailers, aerial platforms and lifting equipment, agricultural machinery, heavy handling tools. Ideally, you are trained in CAD tools: CATIA V5, ABAQUS and ADAMS.

You have a strong mechanical culture and are naturally curious. You know how to be proactive and rigorous within a team. Possessing good interpersonal skills, you are able to evolve in a dynamic and international environment.

You have a B1 level of English, which will allow you to read technical documentation and write professional documents.

You appreciate the latitude of action and the agility of SME environments. You want to develop your skills and autonomy in an evolving and expert context. You are recognized for your proactivity and your desire to provide solutions in order to contribute to projects.

Status: Non-executive - 38h/week (Structural overtime)
