Maintenance Technician (M/F)

The Services division aims to guarantee excellent customer relations and ensure the availability and maintenance of tooling throughout its life cycle through a diversified range of services: maintenance, technical assistance, tooling fleet management, and continuous support.

////// JOB SUMMARY

As a maintenance technician, you will ensure the maintenance, repair, load testing, inspection, and technical expertise of aeronautical tooling and ground support equipment. Beyond executing work instructions, you will leverage your technical knowledge and diagnostic skills to identify symptoms and causes of malfunctions, propose repair solutions, and guarantee the reliability and safety of equipment for our customers. This operational position requires autonomy, adaptability, and strong mechanical skills.

////// MAIN MISSIONS AND TASKS

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance, primarily on mechanical and hydraulic aeronautical tooling (lifting equipment, support tools, measuring instruments, GSE).
• Carry out technical expertise, functional tests, and load tests to validate the compliance of repaired equipment.
• Independently establish diagnostic methods and propose repair solutions when standard procedures are insufficient.
• Disassemble, reassemble, adjust, and calibrate equipment, ensuring precision and compliance with technical standards.
• Perform quality controls before shipment and prepare equipment for delivery to customers.
• Intervene on-site at customer locations (airlines, maintenance centers, manufacturers) if necessary.
• Contribute to the preparation of service quotes in coordination with the customer service manager or maintenance technicians.
• Ensure the proper use of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and workshop documentation for tracking work progress and maintaining records.
• Maintain workshop organization: cleanliness, tool storage, stock management, and compliance with safety rules.

////// SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Technical or professional degree in mechanics (automotive, motorcycle, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, industrial mechanics, or equivalent). Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance (hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems). Excellent ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents. Manual dexterity, precision, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Basic knowledge of welding, machining, or other special processes is an asset. Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Proficiency in technical English (reading and writing) required. Certifications in forklift operation, welding, and lifting would be appreciated.
